Our Story
Deck the Walls has been framing Joplin’s memories since around 1988 — first in Northpark Mall, and since 2000 at our current home in Southpointe Center. In 2005, Chris and Michele Knight bought the business, and it’s been our family’s shop ever since. Nearly four decades of framing, twenty years of it in the Knight family.
Over that time, this store has framed thousands of the Four State Area’s most treasured pieces: wedding portraits and newborn photos, game balls and championship jerseys, military medals and folded flags, diplomas, needlework passed down through generations — and more than a few things nobody would believe fit in a frame.
Every piece gets the same treatment: honest advice at the design counter, hundreds of frame and mat options, and craftsmanship done right here in our shop. Your pieces never leave our building — and that’s a promise we’ve kept for two decades.
